In 2006, the project Borderline started as an examination of the interconnections of art and science. Different formats – symposia, research projects and others – dealt with this highly complex topic and were summed up in this documentary booklet. The complexity of the project is reflected in the layout of the documentation: different formats and a change of paper divide the book into its two parts – separating essays from the index. The luminous ink emphasizes individual theses or key concepts and enlivens the pages with graphical headlines. Cuts, overprinting and markings ease the demanding theoretical reflections.
