The Borusseum is a museum that brings the fabled history of FC BVB Dortmund 09 to life. The permanent exhibition is based on intertwining football history with fan culture. The concept consists of two main ideas: that of a traditional museum where visitors can view select exhibits and interactive stations that invite them to get involved and even help refine the Borusseum. The “Yellow Wall”, with its fan stations in front, on top and behind, forms the foundation for the museum's content and layout. Six exhibit islands relate the sporting development of the club, from its founding up to the present day.
