BOS Battery Operated Screwdriver

Battery operated screwdriver (cranio, maxillo, facial)

To the observer KLS Martin's surgical BOS is a feast for the eyes. The instruments are produced on the most modern CNC-precision-operated machines. This battery operated screwdriver has been conceived for use in cranio-facial regions. In developing this product, special emphasis was placed upon minimal volume and sensitive ergonomic handpiece design. Holding the BOS as a pencil between index finger and thumb the battery pack rests smoothly on the back of the hand. High quality materials such as titan, aluminium, stainless steel and high calibre plastics were incorporated. A special technical challenge was achieving high torque with soft start in addition to accomplishing lifelong resistance to sterilization processes of steam at 134°C. We have thus created a product from close symbiosis of technique, shape and function.
