BOXVISOR

Visor

According to the World Health Organization, Africa currently has the largest share of the world's blind people. Africans are more exposed to the risk of cataracts than Asians because they spend a lot of time outdoors exposed to UV rays. This design reuses the cardboard boxes that are used to deliver relief items thanks to a planar pattern from which a sun visor can be cut. A typical box can be recycled to make six sun visors for use both by adults and children.

JURY STATEMENT

I like designs where the solution is not far from the problem. The mode of presentation is also very successful. Many submissions lack a clear vision but this is very apparent here. Bravo!

WINNER STATEMENT

It's a great honor to receive this award. We are very grateful to the iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD jury for selecting our project. We will continue to work hard to create better design. Thank you!
