BRECHT FESTIVAL 2010

Festival design

The aim of the new BRECHT FESTIVAL at Augsburg is to present a less ideologising image of Bertolt Brecht and to reach a broader target group. The visual appearance was designed to give the festival an expressive, unconventional and striking visual profile. The poster series developed for this is designed to provide multiple benefits. A pre-printed Brecht silhouette with a lettered banner (special color neon-pink) provides the constants; various types of overprinting (black) provide the variables in a cost-efficient series. Round stickers function as additional eye-catchers, thus making each copy one of a kind.
