BURSTER
Ship hull surface blasting system
The system was developed to improve safety and environmental problems related to the surface repair of ships. BURSTER solves these issues with a movable chamber on the surface of vessels that works with a blaster and a connected collector. The abrasives are sprayed and the system simultaneously collects the generated dust and abrasives, which is recycled back into the process. The system improves work efficiency by reducing environmental pollution factors and processing time. It also cuts costs by collecting and reusing the abrasives. Workers can safely arrange work at a long range with a remote controller.
