B/E Aerospace and Designworks created a design that balances an open-lounge-like character and personal passenger space focusing on the needs of a modern business traveler. The seat layout, height and position of the partitions define personal passenger space and create privacy without boxing in or isolating the seat environment from the cabin context. Focusing on the business traveler, the design maximizes the amount of horizontal surfaces that allows seamless transition between work, dining and entertainment. When using the meal table to work on a laptop and the meal is served, the laptop can be moved to the side.
