The overall idea was to revolutionize the fitness app market and develop a personal trainer app with the most unique user interface, an interface which is completely different to all competitors in every detail. Instead of making another black and white fitness app, it should become the brightest ever. In all parts the key was a balance between functional and motivational design, keeping in mind to break given design conventions to give an athlete more excitement while training.
