CAINZOO was created as one series of CAINZ DIY MARKET (CDM). By utilizing a woodworking CNC router called ShopBot installed in the store, a made-to-order furniture service has been realized. The company completes material procurement, production/processing, and shipping within the store. The introduction of ShopBot has allowed us to realize a model where we do not need to carry inventory and can produce as long as we have the data. We also have furniture that meets niche needs, and we can introduce experimental products. The CAINZOO, with its distinctive design, was also made possible by this model.
