CAIRE

Healthcare Innovation, Assistive Medical Device

Demographic shifts are leading to a significant shortage of personnel in care facilities and hospitals. Tasks such as assisting individuals with limited mobility are physically demanding and often require multiple caregivers. CAIRE offers a cutting-edge solution: a lifting aid and seating support that facilitates safe, ergonomic lifting and stabilization of patients with just one caregiver. It is hygienic, easy to use, and suitable for both care facilities and home settings.

JURY STATEMENT

As care systems face staff shortages and mounting physical and mental demands, CAIRE offers a pragmatic, respectful solution. It enables a single caregiver to safely lift and stabilize patients, enhancing ergonomics, efficiency, and well-being in both clinical and home settings.

WINNER STATEMENT

Winning this award fills us with great pride and gratitude. It is the culmination of an intensive creative process and a wonderful recognition of the hard work that went into this design.
