Campus Masterplan

Community hospital design

Philips was hired to create a Campus Masterplan, unifying two hospital campuses and systems to provide exceptional services while emphasizing patient comfort, safety, efficiency and quality of care. The design celebrates the vibrant local artist community by creating spaces for installations and murals. Flexible education spaces, a weekly outdoor farmer’s market and a large multipurpose courtyard invites the community to interact with the hospital whether sick or well. The design is a comprehensive masterplan for optimized, efficient consolidation of the community hospital from two campuses into one, creating a roadmap for long-term growth.
