The most distinctive feature of Candeo Hotel Kyoto Karasuma Rokkaku is that it was designed around the former Banke Residence, which is a registered tangible cultural property of Kyoto City, known as machiya (townhouse). To realize the client's vision of preserving and restoring the precious traditional architecture of the time, while giving it a new value as a hotel, we at GARDE turned to our talented design team. We provided the best consulting, design, and coordination services using the latest technology. The result is an outstanding, comfortable, and highly functional space.
