Interior Design

ILMIODESIGN

ILMIODESIGN has designed this new hotel of Barceló Group: a Five Star Grand Luxury establishment that allows to travel back in time. The construction of Canfranc Railway Station began in 1915 with the aim of becoming a border crossing between Spain and France and was completed in 1925. It experienced its golden years in the 30s, but the international service was interrupted between 1945-49. The railway connection was definitively cancelled in 70s. ILMIO has been able to give a second life to this emblematic building, closed for more than half a century, restoring its splendour through architecture and interior design.
