In its product design, Ricoh traditionally follows the concept of broadening the range of photography. The new Caplio R5 digital camera takes this concept to a higher level, thanks to features like a bright 2.5-inch 230,000 pixel LCD monitor for improved outdoor use, 7.1x optical wide zoom lens, vibration correction function, and 7.24 megapixel CCD all housed in a compact body only 26 mm thick. With its new image processing engine, the Caplio R5 allows for high-sensitivity photography with low noise and superior edge-to-edge picture clarity. It greatly expands the range of shooting in low light, producing high quality images at high ISO settings.
