Carbon and Cloud

Improve Education

Carbon and Cloud is an ingenious app that renders the invisible visible. The concept identifies the impact of data hoarding and unrestrained Cloud usage and proposes a well-detailed and executed solution to create awareness and reduce the impacts of data storage. The app is designed to educate and guide users, making it easier to understand and manage the CO² emissions associated with their Cloud usage.

JURY STATEMENT

The first step towards effecting behavioral change is to create awareness, and this carefully thought-out concept does both – revealing the carbon footprint of our digital habits, and showing us how to change them. A worthy Best of the Year winner!

WINNER STATEMENT

We are delighted to receive the iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD. We hope that our design can help make society more inclusive and diverse, while also increasing environmental awareness.
