The Caré lounge chair brings with it the Brazilian identity in its simplicity. It was conceived from a structural system inspired by the Jangada, a traditional fishing sailboat that is an icon of the Brazilian northeast coast. As in this boat, the structure of the lounge chair is made of wooden fittings and stretched rope. The set is stabilized by twisting the rope by a tourniquet, which holds the fittings without the need for gluing between the wooden pieces. The lounge chair can be assembled and disassembled easily without the use of tools. The idea is the cultural reference and structural solution create a unique aesthetic for the piece.
