School

The new Carlo-Mierendorff School in Griesheim forms a vibrant educational campus that bridges past and future. Its S-shaped structure connects existing facilities and integrates harmoniously into the pine-covered landscape. Designed as a full-day inclusive elementary school, it features light-filled learning clusters, a central foyer with flexible communal spaces, and sustainable construction meeting Passive House standards. Carefully restored heritage elements and thoughtfully designed outdoor areas create a dynamic, identity-rich environment for learning, community, and transformation.
