Building

The initial situation was a narrow corner with a building which is no longer suitable for renovation. A special, communicative and creative solution had to be found for the young and design-oriented neighbourhood. The new structure at this prominent intersection is now accentuated by the elevation. The sculptural building and the façade design implements the modern interpretation of the Wilhelminian town-building idea of emphasising a corner situation through special architecture and ornamentation in the urban context. Although the house is small, it acts beyond its size measured in square meters as a clear statement of modern architecture.
