Cassate
Decoration fabric
Cassate consists of two layers of Organza, both of different density. The basis, a semi-transparent fabric with a pattern of big checks, is covered with a layer of delicate, uni-coloured fabric. The checks woven in Scherli-technique show a hazy, nearly transient outline. The subtle metallic shine of the top fabric and the different weaving densities of the two layers create an exiting depth and three-dimensional effect.
