Cavius Heat detector is a fire alarm for the kitchen, or other areas where smoke may occur without a fire. For example by the fireplace, garages etc. Cavius Heat detector reacts on rapidly increasing heat. Regular smoke detectors are often dismounted or somehow interrupted due to false alarms in areas where harmless smoke is acceptable. This dangerous scenario is unfortunately very common. To prevent “blank spots” in the house, Cavius introduced the worlds smallest approved heat detector as a supplement to the worlds smallest approved smoke detector. The detector can be mounted with double sided tape.
