Briefcase

The product presented here is a fashion accessory; a briefcase. It is an effort to push the limits of high-tech ceramic materials in means of technical but aesthetical level, also. The driving force behind the project was the challenge to blend the heritage of ceramic materials as primitive ones with the high-tech applications of the new ones. The product makes extensive use of zirconium (high-tech ceramic) and leather parts. Ceramic parts can either be injection moulded, tape caste or vapour deposited. The briefcase has a size of 42x30x8cm. The jury: simple, but effective design.
