Concept forklift
The CF is an intelligent concept forklift aimed for a 2020 release. CF combines maximum usability and operation with features that are efficient, environmentally friendly and safe. These key ideas are conceptually integrated into the innovative design as new themes for Doosan forklifts. The concept forklift is characterized by its use of an extendable counterweight to improve stability and increase load capacity. Additionally, its intuitive work guidance system acts as a form of transparent OLED display, which helps to maximize the operators efficiency through the use of augmented reality. Operators can view information about their cargo and deduce the optimal work process they should apply to it. A high torque in-wheel motor is installed in each of the inner wheels, and the traditional hydraulic cylinder for the mast is replaced by an electric linear motor to simplify its structure and to decrease noise as well as oil leaks. CF also offers structural and technical solutions for visibility. The cabin is able to move upward and tilt enabling peak visibility during elevation. Safety devices improve visibility and enable operators to be immediately aware of nearby people or objects.
