Chapel of Reconciliation, Church of S. Francesco

Religious & spiritual spaces

The Chapel of Reconciliation in the Church of San Francesco, Treviso (Italy), is an architectural experiment engaging with the sacred Catholic rite and the symbolic value of open, fraternal dialogue. Guided by the idea of “witnessing the possible,” it transforms the sacramental experience of confession from one of closure and penance to one of openness, relation, and beauty. The chapel offers a pause for self-reflection, apart from the world’s chaos, through an architectural reflection on spaces, materials, light, and memory that weave a new experience of closeness and beauty.
