Wine packaging

The designers were tasked with finding a way for HOTLAND winery to express its brand culture through a unique packaging concept. The result is a boxed wine that is very clever and stands apart. The designers took the letters H • O • T and abstracted them into illustrations of a chicken, monkey, and cow. These animals are the zodiac signs of the three owners of the winery. In the Chinese zodiac, H for chicken means trustworthy; O for monkey means smart; and T for bull means hardworking. These three symbols also express the winery's three owners' original motivation to grow wine. On the sunny slopes of the Helan Mountain, they work hard and apply their values if trustworthiness, intelligence, and hard work to produce their wines.
