Downstairs for dining and socializing, upstairs for retiring and recuperating – this duplex penthouse allows a clear distinction and the designer has obliged. Downstairs seating, dining and open kitchen are united by the simple colour palette relieved by soft tones. Panoramic glazing to the full length terrace floods the whole area with light and draws the gaze to the fantastic views. The transition upstairs is marked by a dark coffee walnut panel leading to a flexible room arrangement; two sumptuous bedrooms separated by a contemplative study which becomes a third bedroom via recessed, sliding partitions.
