In Latin America, Africa and South Asia there are more than 20 million women every year (100 women every minute) that do not have access to any kind of health institution to deliver their babies. This is a situation generate by the extreme poverty in those areas. The childbirth kit comes in a container that keeps all the elements sealed and sterilized. All the instruments have been thought for an easy use and interaction. The shapes of each piece suggest the way to handle and use. Every part of the process could be performed by a single person, so in case the midwife is alone or in an isolated place she can perform every step by herself.
