Circular Design Exhibition

Taiwan Design Research Institute

FORMOSAT-O is one of the sections in the Taiwan Design Expo in New Taipei City. Themed with “circular design,” it delves into the lifestyle solutions for sustainable development and circular designs nowadays in Taiwan through facets of Use Less, Use Longer, Use Smart, and Use Again. The exhibition aims to implement circular design by reducing disposable materials and overall carbon footprint. Collaborating with companies, we replaced 90% of printed matters with ePaper, used gauzes and bricks made of recycled bottles, and utilized modular stands and rented items, serving as a model for circular design practices.
