Shiseido Company, Ltd.Clé de Peau Beauté has launched a limited edition collection, Kimono Dream, inspired by this artistic Japanese fashion tradition. This iconic packaging design conveys the qualities hidden inside every woman: passion, strength, charm, and gentleness. The fold-out box is based on the ”Tatou” principle, folded paper in many overlapping layers that gradually opens to reveal a gorgeous illustration. The outer sleeve resembles an obi sash, photographed from actual belts that faithfully reproduces the fabric's weave, patterns, and three-dimensionality.
