With the design of www.rightlane.tw/cs.htm we intend to combine Chinese iconography with modern touches. Focusing on nature, the layout is sparse, the pages load slowly, the colors are subdued, and the music is calming. The website design reinforces a tranquil, quiet viewing experience. This reflects an Asian ideal of serenity which leads to contentment and relief. The idea is to use the style of a newspaper. This is done through the traditional Chinese method of writing and parchment writing. The integration of modern and ancient is a hallmark of Rightlanes work and represents their adoption of traditions to break boundaries in website design.
