Turning machine

The NG 400 CNC Turning Machine, together with its sisters the NG 180 and NG 200, make up a product line from Boehringer Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH. The uniform design of this line contributes significantly to establishing the company's brand image. Turning, drilling, milling, hard and dry machining, right up to finishing – these are the exacting requirements that the product line must meet. The NG 400 can machine large, technically demanding workpieces (up to 3 m long and weighing up to 2500 kg). The receding, curved front of the machine makes the NG 400 appear smaller, simplifies loading by crane, and provides considerable savings in materials compared to machines with a vertical front. Sliding front sections, removable sides and an inspection window ensure accessibility and allow the monitoring of all units and the machining process.
