The ‘Cocoon’ is a modern hospital bed that responds to the trend of giving the patient a homelike feeling in healthcare institutions. The gentle forms of the head and footboard, the absence of any visible technical features and the fresh color scheme make the bed appealing to the eye. The contrasting color on the in -and outside creates a reliable and secure place for the patient. The intelligent manner in which the frame is constructed enables this to be operated with only one hand and with its restricted swing it can be completely stored away under the mattress. Moreover, the bed is lighter than its predecessor, among other aspects, composite technology was used.
