Necklace

The Facets Necklace is composed of a gradation of 24 separate gems in polished red gold, pierced with four rigid wires. These are attached at the ends to a small globe to lock all the wires together. The product uses cordierite, a gem found in Paraíba (Brazil), which has a physical property that distinguishes it from many others: “trichroism”. This property makes it possible to see three distinctly different colors in a single stone when it is viewed from different angles. To make the necklaces more interesting, we used circles cut from four quadrants of smaller gems with regularly unequal heights and sizes.
