Necklace - 18k gold and quartz
A sequence of just two elements comprises the necklace in modules of rigid threads joined by rock crystal spheres. The module shapes were based on the sphere and around the possibilities of this format. The synthesis of elements and the explicit simplicity of its making reflect in the orderly visual impact of this light and transparent necklace. The enchained gold modules holding the stone obviate the need for claws traditionally used in jewelry for stones set in metal.
