Collection Exhibition - Museum of Ethnography

Exhibition design and implementation

The Collection Exhibition is the fifth permanent exhibition of the 152 years old Museum of Ethnography in Budapest, realised in the spectacular new building of the museum opened in 2022. The aim of the permanent exhibition is to impart understanding of the museum as a historical construction, one that has been and still is under a process of continuous change, as well as to examine the complex relationships that exist between ethnographic object, collection, institution, and society.
