Cordless DECT telephone
Our objective for Colombo was to design a cordless telephone that was visually familiar but also thoroughly modern in execution. The design had to be enduring and easy to relate to, as well as being easy to use. With Colombo we did this by exploring and reintroducing the relationship between the earpiece and mouthpiece that has been lost on modern handsets. The design incorporates the elements essential on todays modern residential handsets in a friendly package that optimizes usability and comfort. The Colombo features a large inverse B+W display, handsfree, phonebook and can also be wall mounted by cleverly rotating a hook in the base.
