Colour Rhapsody
Interactive book
Fachhochschule Hannover
Colour Rhapsody is a book that focuses on the creation and effects of music in the brain and the visual interpretation of music on the basis of space, movement, images and typography. Optical-acoustic experiments offer an opportunity to see music in a different way. The book, which can be used interactively, is based on the principle of optical illusion, which is able to a certain extent to resolve the discrepancy between printed graphics and music, i.e. the permanence of images and the temporal being of music. The graphics themselves become an optical instrument that wants to be played.
