The Midea compact window AC is only half the size of a traditional window unit, which makes it easy to install, relocate and fit with different kinds of windows. The smaller size allows for more sunlight penetration, better ventilation and less thermal loss. The device has a hidden touch screen and WIFI smart control, which allows for remote control through a smartphone app. Meanwhile, the air channel has been redesigned using moist air, tilting the air outlet and movable window casing. The new window AC includes a cross-flow fan, which increases efficiency and reduces noise.
