Contemporary Architecture in Shenzhen

Book

The Urban Planning, Land and Resources Commission of Shenzhen Municipality and Time + Architecture Journal jointly published "Shenzhen Contemporary Architecture" which portrays 45 representative buildings in Shenzhen and includes 27 academic articles on the city of Shenzhen and its architecture. As editors, designers, and promoters, we paid close attention to the architecture of the book itself, focusing on essential information and presenting the “archives of urban architectural research" in a language akin to design. We applied the concept of "architectural text," transforming text into architectural elements and used these as a basic element in the book's design, creating an architectural code for the production of the entire work.
