Contemporary Architecture in Shenzhen

Brand

The Urban Planning, Land & Resources Commission of Shenzhen Municipality and Time + Architecture Journal jointly published "Shenzhen Contemporary Architecture," a book that portrays 45 representative buildings in Shenzhen and includes 27 academic articles on Shenzhen as a city and its architecture. As editors, designers, and promoters of the book, we paid close attention to the form of the book itself and introduced the concept of "architectural text," transforming text into architectural elements, as a basic element of the book's design; we thus developed an architectural code used to construct the entire book.
