The new Continental SportContact 7 was developed as the best ultra-high performance summer tire on the market. Compared to its predecessor it has significantly improved dry and wet performance on road and track, outstanding mileage and better fuel efficiency. Three main objectives drove the industrial design: the first was to develop a plausible "next generation" in the long line of successful SportContact tires; second, the innovations developed were to be made optimally visible; and thirdly, the design language had to be compatible with modern sports cars.
