The system integrates 3D hybrid optical positioning, surgical navigation, and mechanical arms to enhance surgeon efficiency and accuracy of spine positioning that solves the difficulty of spinal surgery with three or more vertebrate segments. It utilizes a single dodecahedron marker sphere to establish spatial positions. It replaces the current optical positioning system that requires more than three reflective passive marker spheres to establish spatial positions. It makes surgery sites precise, reduces wound size, shortens operation time, and reduces the radiation dose for patients and healthcare workers.
