With authentic cookies baked according to original American recipes, the Cookies Bakery from DeBeukelaer has brought four different varieties to the shelves of German supermarkets. Unlike many competing products, however, these cookies each come individually wrapped in a style typical of New York newspapers. While this not only makes them unique within their market, it also communicates with each unwrapping a small piece "heritage" that connects the Cookies Bakery to a product evoking memories of small Greenwich Village bakeries.
