CorkCoal®, an inspired by nature cap. The cork blend with activated carbon offers a high commitment to sustainability on several levels. - Activated carbon is an inert material that acts as an accelerator of the biodegradation processes. - The aesthetics of CorkCoal® caps embrace the natural variations in grain size and colour of natural cork to reduce waste of this precious raw material. - The activated carbon naturally traps unwanted substances in cork. This avoids the use of large amounts of water, energy and chemicals needed to remove unwanted substances from cork: TCA, taste and smell. Two natural-origin materials working together.
