Lenovo’s corrugated packaging is especially designed for its consumer notebook product lines. It is Lenovo’s effort to introduce green mass production packaging to mainstream product lines. On the inside, a bamboo cushion is being used to replace EPE. Bamboo is the world’s most sustainable resource: rapidly renewable, recyclable and bio-degradable. The inside structure has been redesigned for optimal usage of space, therefore reducing the size of the package and providing a benefit to logistics. The new corrugated packaging is an invention from Lenovo that will be good for the environment.
