Sofa

Up to now, there have been two different ways of constructing a sofa. The first method involves a wooden frame with a structure of belts, springs, foam, and upholstery. The second uses a metal frame with built-in suspension, filled with foam, a layer of padding, and upholstery. In both cases, repairs are expensive and require a lot of effort. The materials are difficult or impossible to separate, and the sofas contain large quantities of foam that cannot be recycled. Magis developed a new construction method for Costume, a modular sofa with components that are not bonded together. That means that they can easily be dismantled.
