Museum brand identity

The designers were tasked with developing a complete visual identity for the Craft Archives at the newly opened Seoul Museum of Craft Art (SeMoCA). Similar to a “Cabinet of Curiosities,” the Craft Archives is a cabinet of the SeMoCA where the museum’s collections are preserved and stored. The designers focused on the archive’s role and created a system that could encompass events at the archive and be used in programming. The system allows the archive to collect and preserve data, hold exhibitions, and welcome visitors in a consistent visual language. The overall goal was to highlight the archive’s professionalism, system, and accessibility.
