CRAFTING TRANSYLVANIA
Permanent Exhibition
Astra Museum
Crafting Transylvania®, a permanent exhibition hosted by the Astra Museum in Sibiu, celebrates 200 years of Transylvanian artisanship. It spotlights three defining crafts—woodworking, ceramics, and textiles—that established Sibiu and Transylvania as Romania's craftsmanship epicenter. Designed as an immersive cultural journey, the exhibition integrates a curated ambient soundtrack that serves as its sonic identity, seamlessly blending with informative displays and kiosks. Together, they create an engaging yet subtle narrative that honors the region's rich artisan heritage.
