This aluminum picture frame redefines a material often seen as cheap and standardized. While aluminum frames are typically commoditized and dominated by price competition, this design reveals the metal’s refined strength and precision. Its inward-cut triangular profile provides rigidity and depth, guiding the viewer’s gaze toward the artwork. Leaving the surface untreated allows the raw aluminum to age naturally, accumulating scratches and patina that record time. The frame thus evolves with the artwork, transforming from a mere accessory into a lasting companion.
