The da Vinci SP® (Single Port) system, from Intuitive, is an advanced platform that enables surgeons to perform robotic-assisted, minimally invasive surgery (MIS) in areas where deep and narrow access to the body is challenging. The system is guided by the surgeon as a natural extension of their eyes and hands through a combination of cutting-edge robotics technology, 3DHD stereoscopic vision, and intuitive human-interface controls. Da Vinci SP was created with the patient in mind to advance and enable new approaches for minimally invasive care – especially in constrained areas where traditional MIS may not be a viable option today.
