Dangkids - Diabetes App for Children

Dangkids is an app service that helps children with diabetes manage their condition in a fun and convenient way. lt provides children with a mission tailored to the diabetes management schedule and creates an autonomous diabetes control habit. Children can enjoy learning about diabetes through education and game content. Parents set a schedule for diabetes management in children so that they can continuously observe their conditions through blood sugar index and properly adjust their blood sugar levels according to their conditions.
A thoughtful and engaging proposal to teach and empower diabetic children in an intuitive interface also becomes a valuable monitoring device for parents and medical professionals.
WINNER STATEMENTThrough this project, I thought about various difficulties caused by children's diseases and had a meaningful time thinking about the social effects of health. I am deeply grateful to the iF jury for giving me the courage to put these ideas into practice as a designer.
